Tomasz Struk was born in Bytom in 1952. He studied at the Department of Graphic Art in Cracow, graduating in 1978. In 1978Đ1995 he worked as a senior lecturer in the relief printing studio at the Katowice branch of the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts. His credits include the grants awarded to him by the Ministry of Culture and Art in Poland and the Statens Kunstakademia in Oslo (1985), and the Aldegrever Society (1989). He has exhibited since 1979. He has had solo shows in Paris, Berlin, Cologne, Oslo et. al. In 1989 he showed his works at the Zach«ta Gallery, at the "Emotion, Reason, Fact" exhibition. Tomasz Struk urodził się w 1952 roku w Bytomiu. Studia na Wydziale Grafiki Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Krakowie zakończył dyplomem w 1978 roku. W latach 1978Đ1995 adiunkt w pracowni druku wypukłego filii krakowskiej Akademii w Katowicach. Był stypendyst± Ministerstwa Kultury i Sztuki i Statens Kunstakademia w Oslo (1985) oraz Towarzystwa im. Aldegrevera (1989). Wystawia od 1979 roku, pokazy indywidualne miał również w Paryżu, Berlinie, Kolonii, Oslo. W 1980 roku pokazał swoje prace w Zachęcie na wystawie "Emocja, racja, fakt." |
