BERNARD RINGEISSEN - FRANCE

Completed his studies at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris with top honours. His teachers were Marguerite Long and Jacques Fevrier. Prize-winner at the 4th International Chopin Competition. He was given Grand Prix at the International Marguerite Long and Jacques Thibaud Competition in Paris, as well as at the competitions in Geneva and Rio de Janeiro. Has been appearing with concerts all over the world, accompanied by famous orchestras and great conductors: Has been taking part in prestigious music festivals, among others in Athens, Aix-en-Provence, Besancon, Marienbad, Duszniki. Jury member at many international music competitions, among others those of M. Long - J. Thibaud in Paris, Chopin in Warsaw, Schumann in Zwickau, Bach in Leipzig, Schubert in Dortmund, Liszt in Weimar. Holds master classes at "Mozarteum" in Salzburg and the International Summer Seminar in Weimar. Has made many recordings for Ades, Calliope, Harmonia, Mundi.
