Katarzyna is born in Moscow to parents Mikolaj von Kobro and Eugenia Roza nowa;

1917
Begins studies at the Moscow School/Academy for Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture;

1920
Breaks off studies; Kobro marries Wladyslaw Strzeminski; move to Smolensk; joins the group UNOWIS;

1920-1922
Contact to the group OBMOChU;

1922
Move to Poland; sojourn in Wilna;

1924
Marriage in a church ceremony in Wilna, attains Polish citizenship; move to Szczekociny; teaches at the industrial school in Szczekociny and Koluszki (near Lodz); joins the group "Blok";

1925
leaves the group "Blok" again;

1926
Joins the group "Praesens";

June 1929
leaves the group "Praesens"; the group is then dissolved;

1929
Co-founder of the group "a.r.";

Until 1931
Teaches at a gymnasium (high school) and at an industrial school in Koluszki;

End 1931
Move to Lodz; teaches at the industrial school for women in Lodz;

1933
Joins the group "Abstraction-Creation";

1936
Daughter Nika is born;

1939
Sojourn in Wilejka, return to Lodz;

c. 1945
Separates from Strzeminski;

1949
Court action (question of nationality, custody of daughter Nika);

1949-1950
Teaches drawing and Russian in Lodz;

1950
Collapses physically due to cancer;

1951
Kobro dies in Lodz; interment in the Russian-Orthodox cemetary in Lodz.
